Guardian Life Head of Wealth Management Marketing in New York, New York
The Head of Wealth Management Marketing will own the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives for our Wealth Management division. This senior leadership role is critical for driving brand awareness, client engagement, and overall business growth through innovative marketing strategies and effective communication plans!
Key partners include Line of Business teams, Marketing, Communications, Compliance, Legal, and Digital.
This position reports to the Head of IM Marketing Strategy, who, in turn, reports to the CMO/CCO.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Wealth Management division, aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
Collaborate with senior leadership, product development teams, and sales departments to create compelling marketing programs and campaigns.
Supervise the creation of core marketing collateral, including digital content, email marketing, presentations, direct mail, newsletters, and pitch books.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform marketing strategies and ensure the division remains driven.
Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to marketing and communications.
Lead the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to enhance return on investment.
Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to implement marketing initiatives.
Analyze marketing performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the marketing team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven ability in marketing, with a focus on wealth management or financial services.
Proven track record of developing and driving successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team with varied strengths.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior partners.
Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
Analytical attitude with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
High level of creativity and critical thinking.
Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization.
Location:
- This role is hybrid with two days a week in our Hudson Yards NYC office.
Salary Range
$126,970.00 - $208,600.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
