Guardian Life Risk Reporting and Analysis Senior Lead in New York, New York

Develop informative and efficient ways to communicate financial and operational risks and mitigation activities to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

You will

  • Generate Risk Committee materials to ensure presentations and reporting dashboards convey key risk information in a meaningful, clear, and insightful way.

  • Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reports and presentations that highlight relevant risk trends.

  • Partner with Risk Management team members to drive consistency and clarity in how financial, insurance, and operational risks are reported and presented.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, understand their business and financial risks, and translate them into dashboards, trend analysis and other reporting.

  • Collect, analyze, and present data to help the team visualize material risks and trends to make data-driven decisions.

  • Review, design, and analyze risk dashboards.

  • Support the selection of data collection systems that optimize efficiency and data quality and provide a holistic view of business risks.

  • Analyze, interpret, and present data to help guide business decisions.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of reporting.

You have

  • 5 + years in the Insurance or Financial Services industry

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Information Management preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Background in Risk Management preferred.

  • A strategic thinker with strong communication and data visualization skills.

  • Experience presenting to senior executives on risk trends and insights in business terms.

  • Presentation development using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau.

  • Ability to analyze data, identifying trends and business impacts.

  • Expert level skills in use of business analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence tools.

  • Proven working experience in dashboard development and reporting.

  • Expert knowledge of databases, reporting packages, and business intelligence systems

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (Microsoft Excel, IBM SPSS, SAS, etc.)

  • Experience with analyzing data from financial systems and Governance, Risks and Compliance (GRC) technologies to generate dashboards, and presentations.

Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days WFH. Preferred location – Hudson Yards, New York City

Salary Range

$99,190.00 - $162,955.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
